Puttur: LPG tanker tumbles at Lavathadka, driver injured

Puttur, Mar 21: A tanker loaded with LPG moving from Mangaluru to Bengaluru tripped and tumbled on the highway 75 at Lavathadka on Friday March 20.

The vehicle lost balance and fell by its side after the driver lost control over the vehicle. The driver was injured and he was admitted into a hospital.

Uppinangady police rushed to the spot and paved way for resumption of traffic. It is said that the tanker did not develop any leakage on account of this accident. Officials from Mangaluru reached the spot and took precautionary measures. The tanker has since been shifted from there.
