Mysuru, Mar 23: The people of the city panicked as they saw a Chinese national living in the city. The whole district is locked down as a coronavirus positive case was detected in the city.

The said Chinese national is living in Lalit Mahal grounds of the city since the past five days. It is learnt that he has come to the country in his own vehicle for tour.

The Chinese national is identified as Byatrick. It has also come to light that he is living in Karnataka since 2019. It is also learnt that he has been touring the state for the past three months.

Speaking to the press, when contacted, Byatrick said, "The coronavirus anxiety has gone up in the city. People are looking at me with suspicion. I have come to Karnataka well before coronavirus struck in China. Even then I am living on the outskirts of the city so that not to cause any panic to the public. I am just buying essentials and live in my caravan."
