Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Mar 24: Because of coronavirus, only 75 members out of the current strength of 222 including ministers attended the assembly session on Monday, March 23. As per the demands of the members, the assembly session, which was proposed to be held till March 31, has been cut short. The current session ends on Tuesday, March 24. A decision in this connection was taken by the agenda advisory committee.

It was decided to adjourn the session indefinitely after completing discussions on the budget the entire day on Tuesday, and after the chief minister replies to the debate, and money bill is passed. Although Siddaramaiah suggested to get nod for all necessary things including the bill on Monday itself, the speaker did not agree.
