Beltangady, Mar 25: A youth who had returned to India from Dubai recently has arrived at Karaya via Bengaluru. He has been found to be suffering from cold and cough. Under the advice of local panchayat administration, he was admitted into the government hospital at Puttur on Tuesday, March 24.

The young man aged 23 had come to his native place three days back. After reaching here, he had visited some friends, relatives and neighbours and exchanged greetings, it is said. The locals saw him suffering from cold and cough and informed Tannirpantha gram panchayat administration. The panchayat administration asked the youth to get admitted into the hospital.

Instead of going to the hospital directly, the man went to Uppinangady police station and sought their advice. The police, who have taken elaborate measures against contracting coronavirus infection, were naturally worried at the visit of the man. They advised the man to directly go to the hospital and sent him there in the vehicle by which he had arrived.

In this case, the police too are hoping that his test report of this man would be negative.
