Mangaluru, Mar 25: The government has issued an order appointing Dr Ramachandra Bairy as the new district health officer (DHO) of Dakshina Kannada district.
Dr Bairy was working in the department of health and family welfare. Before that, he had functioned as the DHO of Udupi district. Upon his transfer to Bengaluru, he had worked as deputy director in charge of different departments. He currently served as the principal of the district training centre of the health department at Suratkal.
The order said that Dr Bairy has been transferred in the interests of administrative and public convenience and asked him to report for duties at the new place of posting forthwith.
