Don’t be confused first let MP transfer MPPAD funds to their personal account then they can contribute to PM charity fund.. At the end it is from personal account.

Not only salary but income from all resources awarded to politicians being in a prestigious position. They can manage thier lives by hefty allowances, perks, compensations and all expenses paid for. Salary would be a nominal amount on top of all remunerations which is 100% savings for them.

MLPAD is not for their own use. These MPs and MLAs should give out from their own salaries and wealth.

But giving out from MLPAD is some good news as some of them never bother to utilize these funds for development of their constituencies.

That money is for Local Area Development Scheme it clearly says, to do the development in his area but not to give as a donation. Why not Oscar/Gambir/Kiren Ritiiju and Sonia Maam give from their own personal account?
Tomorrow these people will say we have no fund for development.

All State and central elected officials (MLA and MPs) should contribute 50% of their salaries to the National Charity fund(CARES) to help the poor daily wage earners thrown on to the street without food & shelter. These politicians have huge bank balances, let them show example of charity at the time of crisis hitting the poor wage earners.
