Mangalore: Annual Sports Meet of St Joseph’s High School, Kulshekar Inaugurated

Mangalore, Dec 1: City-based Four Winds Mass Communication director, Elias Fernandes, inaugurated the annual sports meet of St Joseph’s English Medium High School, Kulshekar, here on Tuesday December 1 morning.
 
Speaking on the occasion, Elias opined that active involvement with sports activities, results in the improved physical and mental health of the students. This keeps them prepared to face the challenges of life later in life, he added, and urged the students to take part in sports activities without any hesitation.
 

Fr Valerian Pinto, parish priest of Holy Cross Church, Kulshekar, presided over the programme.  He emphasized the role of sports in the life of the students, and conveyed his best wishes to the participants.
 
Teacher, Anil Monteiro, was also present at the dais.
 
School head teacher, Sunitha D’Souza, welcomed the gathering.

    As an old student of this school i feel very proud that our successors are trim and disciplined, smart and sporty with their tidy uniforms and the lovely band. Josephites, do keep it up!

    CONGRATULATIONS TO THE ENTIRE ST.JOSEPH'S SCHOOL KULSHEKAR ALONGWITH THE STUDENTS, IT WAS REALLY A WONDERFUL EVENT ORGANISED WHICH WILL BE GIVING US A REMEMBRANCE OF OUR CHILDHOOD DAYS AND IN THE SAME WAY IT WILL GO ON AND OUR TODAYS STUDENTS WILL BE REMEMBERED EVENTHOUGH THEY WILL COMPLETE THEIR STUDIES AND BE SETTLED IN ANY PART OF THE WORLD. DEAR CHILDREN MAY THE GOOD GOD BLESS YOU ALL NOT ONLY IN STUDIES BUT ALSO GOOD BEHAVIOR,FAITH AND OBEDIENCE .ALL THE BEST TO THE HARD EFFORTS OF THE PERSONS WHO ORGANISED THIS EVENT.
