Sullia: Curious youth accidentally falls into well, dies

Sullia, Apr 1: In a sad incident which happened at Nellur Kemraje in the taluk on Monday, March 30 evening, a youth who was curiously peeping into a newly dug well, accidentally fell into it and lost his life.

The deceased has been identified as 28-year-old Alpe Vineeth Rai from Nellur Kemraje. The new well that was dug by his family is very deep.

On Monday, after the workers engaged in digging the well left, Vineeth was surveying the breadth and depth of the well by peeping in, duly holding the rotor wheel hung from the wooden beam above for support. It is said that he accidentally lost his grip and fell down into the well directly below. He suffered serious injuries and lost his life.

The deceased is survived by parents and a sister.
