Bangalore Crime Diary - Auto Driver Rapes, Kills 4-yr-old Girl

Bangalore, Dec 3: In a heinous act, an auto driver allegedly killed a four-year-old girl after raping her in Byatrayanapura on Wednesday evening.  

The culprit Sadiq (29), a resident of Roshan Nagar, is father of two children. On Wednesday evening he approached the girl, who was playing with her cousin Kaleem near her aunt's house. He gave Rs five to Kaleem and asked him to get biscuits from a shop.

When Kaleem returned, Sadiq sent him away and took the victim to Old Quality Biscuit Factory, which is in a dilapidated condition. He then allegedly raped her and bludgeoned her to death, B Shivakumar, DCP (West) told Deccan Herald.

Later, when the victim's mother Nasreen Taj asked Kaleem about the victim's whereabouts, he narrated the incident. Around 6 pm, Sadiq was caught and beaten up severely before being handed over to the police.

According to the police, Sadiq’s wife had deserted him as she did not like his behaviour. His house is very close to the victim’s house. The victim was one of the five children of Inayathullah and Nasreen Taj.

Murder case solved

Two people have been arrested for the murder of a housewife, Seema, in Rajajinagar on November 21. The two-- Mohammad Asif alias Sameer (23) of Venkateshpur and Imran Ahmad alias Immu (20) of D J Halli-- were arrested on Tuesday. According to the police it was a murder for gain.

They had allegedly stabbed Seema, a small-time financier, to death, before decamping with cash, gold ornaments and mobile handsets.

Mohammad Asif was known to the victim. He used to visit her house frequently and borrow money. He had shut his garment shop at Basaveshwarnagar after incurring losses. Ever since, he had planned to do ‘something big’ to make money. He took his friend Imran into confidence and hatched the plot to kill Seema and run away with the valuables, the police said.

The police have recovered 350 gm gold ornaments, Rs 20,000 cash and four mobile handsets, all valued at Rs seven lakh, from them.

Three robbers held

Three persons, who had robbed a software engineer on November 14, have been arrested by K R Puram police.

Honnappa (22), Chandrashekhar (23) and Yuvraj (23), residents of Kamalanagar in Basaveshwarnagar police station limits, had allegedly relieved Bopanna, a resident of Devasandra, of his laptop, two mobile handsets, debit and credit cards and Rs 5,000 cash, near K R Puram bus stand.

The police nabbed the accused near ITI Colony in K R Puram at 4 pm on Tuesday. Stolen valuables worth Rs 45,000 have been recovered from them.

Bike rider dies in accident

A 38-year-old man died in a road accident after he lost balance and rammed his bike into a footpath at KG Halli Main Road in Yeshwanthpur on Tuesday night. The deceased has been identified as Gunashekar, an auto driver and a resident of DK Nagar. Nataraj, who was riding pillion is battling for life in a City hospital.

Techie hangs self

A depressed techie hanged himself at his Rajajinagar residence on Wednesday. Rajendra Singh Jamdar (29), a software engineer, was dejected in life after his girl friend deserted him. The Magadi police said, Rajendra was staying alone with his two friends and took the extreme step when his friends were away on work.

    Now a days auto drivers is very rude with everybody.10% correction is due to auto driver.either auto should be converted in under government or special action should be take against auto drivers
