Udupi: Annual General Body Meeting of Muslim Welfare Association Held

Udupi, Dec 4: The twenty seventh annual general body meeting of the city-based Muslim Welfare Association was held at its office located at Baliga Arcade, near Geethanjali Theatre here, recently.
The meeting began with the reading of a few verses from Quran by Sirajuddin.
Kallianpur Abdul Gafoor presided over the meeting.
The annual report and accounts were approved and an election to the managing committee for the next year was held at the occasion.
Kallianpur Abdul Gafoor (president), Haji Kamaruddin M (vice president), V S Ummer (secretary), Muneer Mohammed (joint secretary), K Abdul Gafoor (treasurer), Mohammed Arshad, K Abdul Majeed, Altaf Ahmed, Abdul Kalam, Mohammed Moula, Usman Ali, Mohammed Salim, Gulam Raouf, Sadiq Abbu Haji, Noor Mohammed Dawood, Sheikh Ansar Ali and Haji Abdulla Parkala (committee members), were elected.
Mohammed Moula proposed vote of thanks.
