COVID-19 patient from Tablighi Jamaat spits on doctor in UP

Kanpur, Apr 6 (IANS): A 33-year-old man from Meerut, who had attended the Tablighi Jamaat meeting in Delhi last month and had tested positive for COVID-19, allegedly created ruckus at the Sarsaul Community Health Centre in Uttar Pradesh's Kanpur city, where he had been quarantined.

He was shifted here from the Rama Medical college in Mandhana in Kanpur.

"Not only, he created ruckus, but he spit on a doctor and bolted the room from inside demanding better hospitality," said Medical Superintendent S. L. Verma.

The matter escalated to such an extent that the police had to be called in to control the patient.

The man who had come to the city recently, had attended Tablighi Jamaat meeting in Delhi.

"On Friday, he was put under quarantine at the Rama Medical college as a precautionary measure," said the health official.

His behavior reflects his up bringing and the moral values, social behavior and wisdom that has imparted to him by so called institutions of learning. Not fit to live in civilized society. God help the doctors and medical staff who handle these kind of rogues.

When being well aware of the consequences of spitting, I.e. transmission of virus and the suffering that the virus has caused, no one should do it on their worst enemy. I pray the Doctor will be fine.

Spitting on others!! My God, something which a normal sane person can imagine. Its really disgusting. After contributing to 35% of the total infected in India. I am not surprised with the behaviour, In fact this is how they show gratitude to the ones who served them. After accepting all the freebies, the comeback or payoff's has always been brutal. World wide too its the same sad story , every migration destination is in chaos.
