Kundapur: Four More Swine Flu Cases in Taluk

Kundapur, Dec 9: Out of the three students of Kodery Higher Primary School in Kirimanjeshwar village in the taluk, whose throat swabs had been referred for suspected swine flu infection, tests have confirmed the presence of H1N1 virus in two students so far. In the meantime, four more students of the school have displayed swine flu symptoms.

A large number of students of this school have been suffering from fever since the last several days, and in the case of one of them, who had been admitted to hospital with swine flu symptoms, test report is awaited.  Taluk health officer, Dr Rama Rao, said that the department has been keeping a close watch on the situation and that the needful is being done to contain the spread of this disease.
