Bantwal: 50 Fall Ill After Partaking Food at House Warming Ceremony

Bantwal, Dec 9: About 50 people fell ill after having food at the house warming ceremony at Neerkaje village within Kepu gram panchayat limits on Monday December 7 afternoon.

All of them were guests at the house warming ceremony organized by Vasant Belchada from Neerkaje village. As the food cooked was exhausted, arrangements were made for making the items again. Several people, who consumed this food, fell ill.

Reportedly, the condition of Pushpavati, wife of Vasant and Pushpa, a guest, is serious. The sick included six children. The doctors said that the patients complained of weakness. Kepu gram panchayat arranged for the treatment of the sick on Monday and Tuesday.
