Udupi, Dec 9:
The district-level Yuvajanotsav 2009 – 10 will be held on Sunday December 13, at Sri Vishnumurti temple auditorium, near here.  The programme will be held in association with the zilla panchayat, youth services and sports department, Yuva Shakti Youth Club and Spoorthi Women’s Club, Kaduhole, Marne, near here.
 
Zilla panchayat president, Gladys D’Almeida, will inaugurate the programme, here at 9.30 am on Sunday December 13.
 
State third finance commission chairman, A G Kodgi, Udupi – Chikmagalur MP, D V Sadanand Gowda, MLC, Kota Srinivas Poojary, MLC Pratapchandra Shetty, Kundapur MLA, Halady Srinivas Shetty, Byndoor MLA, Laxminarayan, Kaup MLA, Lalaji R Mendon, apart from zilla panchayat education and health standing committee chairman, B K Hegde, will participate as chief guests of the occasion.
 
The valedictory function will be presided over by zilla panchayat vice president, Dr Santhosh Kumar Shetty.
 
State home and district-in-charge minister, Dr V S Acharya, will present district-level youth award.
 
MLC Captain Ganesh Karnik, Rajya Sabha member, Oscar Fernandes, Shimoga MP, B Y Raghavendra, Karkala taluk panchayat member, Shankar Shetty and Marne gram panchayat president, Susheela Poojary will be the chief guests of the occasion, stated the press release issued by the youth services and sports department assistant director, C B Rangayya.
