Beltangady: Atil Aragane, Food Stalls with Tuluva Foods Inaugurated

Beltangady, Dec 10: Atil Aragane, a food stalls depicting Tuluva food culture was inaugurated at Ujire here on Wednesday December 9.



The programme, a part of international convention centre to be held from December 10 to 13 was set to motion by Dharmastala dharmadhikari Dr D Veerendra Heggade. Honorary general secretary of the convention Dr M Mohan Alva compered the programme. He as part of the inaugural programme offered food varieties of Tulunadu to a person on the dais, who symbolized Agoli Manjanna.

About 600 different food varieties of Tulunadu prepared by women of 25 self-help groups are available for mere Rs 5.

    Mohan Alva is a good actor.Alva,kindly tell us where are Tuluva eatables like kori rotti,neer tellavu,and other non-veg items? Are they not a part of Tulu culture?You can noy fool all the tulu speaking people in the name of culture.
