Sullia: Sick Tumakru man found lying on road hospitalised

Sullia, Apr 17: An aged man from Tumakuru, who was found lying sick on the road at Pajapalla in Balila village was admitted into the hospital here. The CDPO with support of Balila gram panchayat development officer and the locals, admitted him into the hospital on Thursday.

The man, aged around 75, was found lying by the roadside at Pajapalla. The people conveyed information to panchayat development officer Chandravathi and CDPO Rashmi Ashok. The people to shift the man from the roadside, provided food and water to him.

The man was unable to speak. Verification of a bag he had revealed that there was an identity card. He was identified as Thimmayya from Tumakuru. With police help, his son was contacted. His son reportedly said that his father had left home six months back for visiting the residence of his daughter.

Thimmayya was admitted into the government hospital here. He was suffering from fever and cough, it is gathered.
