Kasargod: Minor among three succumbs to burn injuries

Kasargod, Apr 18: Out of the three children who suffered burn injuries and were admitted into the hospital here, a girl succumbed to her injuries on Friday April 17. The victim happens to be Fathima (11), daughter of A T Tajuddin, residing near Nellikatte mosque near Badiadka.

Her brothes, Abdulla (9) and Hashir (13) who were admitted into the hospital along with her, are being treated.

The three were playing in the backyard of their home on Wednesday when accidental fire had inflicted burn injuries on all the three. They were admitted into a private hospital. State health minister, K K Shylaja, said that the treatment expenses of the three children who were injured at Badiadka Nellikatte would bet met by the sate government. She said that these expenses would be covered under Kerala Community Suraksha Mission V Care scheme.
