Udupi: Kolalgiri Church Celebrate Christmas the Traditional Way

Udupi, Dec 26: Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Kolalgiri parish here celebrated Christmas day on Thursday December 24 evening.



The ceremony began at 10.30 pm with Christmas carols sung by parish YCS members and 11.00 pm mass was celebrated by Fr Gilbert D’Souza, director of small Christian community of Mangalore diocese along with parish priest Fr Jerome Monteiro.

Fr Monteiro blessed the attractive crib prepared by members of ICYM, Kolalgiri and Fr Gilbert judged star competition organized by ICYM, Kolalgiri. This was followed by Santa Clause sending out a Christmas message to the gathered.
