Udupi: Annual Day Celebration of JSKPPS Held at Hotel Kidiyoor

Udupi, Dec 27: The annual day celebration of Jayasrikrishna Parisara Premi Samiti (JSKPPS) was held at Hotel Kidiyoor Madhav Krishna auditorium, here on Saturday December 26. JSKPPS is a NGO striving for the integral development of undivided Dakshina Kannada (DK) district since nearly a decade.


 
JSKPPS president Tonse Jayakrishna A Shetty presided over the discussion meet held on the occasion in order to develop undivided DK as tourist spot and industrial hub, which can generate employment for locals, conservation of water bodies and economic progress. State home minister Dr V S Acharya inaugurated the programme.
 
JSKPPS district vice-president and state Fisheries Board president Ramachandra Baikampady delivered the keynote address on development of undivided DK. Local leader K Rajendra Bhat Inna and Haji K S Shekabba also delivered talk on potential of undivided DK in achieving economic prosperity.
 
JSKPPS vice-president and All India Billava Federation president Jaya C Suvarna, Mogaveer Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mumbai executive president lawyer Sanjeev S Kanchan, Bilavar Association vice-president L V Amin, Devadiga Sangha, Mumbai former president Dharmapal U Devadiga and Shafi Welfare Association, Mumbai president lawyer B Mohiuddin Mundkoor among others were present on the dais.
 
City-based Bhargavi dance troupe staged variety cultural programmes.

JSKPPS honorary chief secretary Nithyanand D Kotian, honorary secretaries Harish Kumar M Shetty, P Dhananjay Shetty and G T Acharya, joint secretaries Kishore Kumar Kuttar and Suresh Shetty Yeyyady were present.
