Kundapur, Apr 28: Manjunath Golla (45), husband of Srimati alias Suma (38), resident of Shankernarayana village, here committed suicide by hanging from the branch of a tree near his house. He suffered from depression for the last five years and did not recover even after undergoing treatment at Kundapur Mata hospital.
He was at home without employment and worried for the last two months. He hung from a rope tied to the branch of a tree at Halugudde government barren land on April 27 between 3 pm and 8.45 pm.
A police case in this connection is registered at Shankernarayana police station under registration number 13/2020 CRPC section 174 based on a complaint by his wife.
