Mangalore: Neo Cricket Channel to Telecast City Doctor’s Innovation

Mangalore, Dec 29: Professor Arunachalam Kumar, who has published and researched on cricket biomechanics, is all set to receive an award for his entry sent to Intel Sports Inventor of Neo Sports Channel.



The Mangalore-based doctor’s innovation was adjudged as one among the best 20 by a panel of judges headed by former Indian pace bowler, Javagal Srinath. A team from Neo Cricket channel was in Mangalore recently to video-shoot the professor and his work. Dr. Kumar is presently the dean of the city’s K S Hegde Medical Academy.
 
The doctor was pleasantly surprised when Javagal Srinath rang him a few days ago to convey the good news. His entry will also be in contention for the top three entries, results for which will be telecast along with an interview on Neo Channel next week.
