Byndoor: MP Raghavendra conducts meeting with senior officials

Byndoor, Apr 29: "Udupi district is successful in preventing the spread of coronavirus pandemic. This was possible only due to the cooperation of the public and efforts of the administration," said MP B Y Raghavendra.

Raghavendra was speaking at the progress meeting with regards to coronavirus pandemic and also the status of project works at the auditorium of Kollur Mookambika temple on Wednesday April 29. He said that the role of the health, revenue and police department is of top order in containing the pandemic.

The MP further said, "CM Yediyurappa had laid the foundation stone for many works in the legislative constituency of Byndoor. Now all those works have to take place. As the district is under green zone now, the works will start immediately.



"Though it is many days since Byndoor is declared as a taluk, government offices have still not started functioning. The public is forced to go to Kundapur for even small work like ration card. So take action.

"Now during summer, the scarcity of drinking water increases. Supply water through tanker and see that the public is not inconvenienced."

Deputy secretary of CM Ravi, Prasanna of CM office, ADC Sadashiva Prabju, AC Raju K, ZP member K Babu Shetty, taluk panchayat president Shyamala Kundar, taluk health officer Dr Nagabhushana Udupa and medical officer of Byndoor community centre Premananda were present.
