Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru (EP)

Mangaluru, Apr 30: There is king of Jagor and horse riders here. Siddis play Damam, dance, Daldis play duff, Kudmis dancing to the tune of Gumtas and playing Kolata, couples dancing to the forms of Baila and Manddo. But they are wearing masks to create awareness on coronavirus. They convey a message for others also to wear masks, defeat coronavirus and save lives.

These are the displays found on the walls of Kalangan, Mandd Sobhann, the primary organization of Konkani at Shaktinagar, here. Various attractive sculptures of Konkani art and culture here are the center of attraction for the people.

Some of the nearby areas are sealed here. Therefore, the sculptures are wearing masks and create awareness for the people about the pandemic. They inspire everybody to wear masks while coming out of their houses.
