Mangaluru, Apr 30: KMC Hospital, Attavar, observed Founders Day on Thursday, April 30, in remembrance of Padmashree Dr TMA Pai on his birth date.
Dr John Ramapuram, medical superintendent of KMC Hospital Attavar, lighted the lamp and offered floral respect to the portrait of Dr TMA Pai.
Dr TMA Pai had a vision for Society in terms of curbing illiteracy, ill health and poverty and to tackle these issues he pioneered the genesis of Manipal Group and through this he thrived to make his vision come true.
Due to COVID-19 lockdown regulations stage function was avoided; yet it was celebrated in a fruitful way by distributing fruits to the patients of the Hospital. All safety precautions were followed during the fruit distribution.
Deputy medical superintendent Dr Deepak Madi, Senior doctors and the management staff took part in the fruit distribution.
