Mangaluru: Kidnap of minor girls - Two accused arrested

Mangaluru, May 2: Police personnel of Panambur station here have succeeded in arresting two persons who were named as accused in the kidnap of two minor girls. Both the girls have been rescued.

The arrested accused happen to be Hanumant (23) and Madesh (22), both from north Karnataka districts, who till a couple of days back, were living at Thokur near here.

It is said that the two accused were involved in love with two minor girls of north Karnataka origin. One of the girls used to attend school while the other remained at home. The families had come to know about the mutual love but the parents were not agreeable for these alliances. Dissatisfied by the stand taken by the families, all the four had suddenly gone missing from Thokur. The parents had filed complaint in Panambur station against the young men.

All the four had started to live in stone quarry in hilly terrain at Adyapady. The Villagers who saw them living in isolated hilly area, informed the police. Panambur police took them into custody by visiting the spot.

    There are people are living in Mangalore on rental paying guest.there is no system to keep a tab on this.i request the commissioner of police to give a public notice for police verification of the paying staying in their properties.peopke should given at least one month notice period.this is very common such minors are misleaded and elope from the heir houses.the agents in city like Mangalore suratkal and other places easily. Arrange for their stay on commission based.strick action should be taken against them..the neighbors also bring such incidences to the notice of the concerned police station with a copy to CP.
