Bengaluru: ‘Cheque given by Congress to pay migrants' bus fare is fake’, alleges minister R Ashoka

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (MS)

Bengaluru, May 4: Revenue minister R Ashoka has made serious allegation that the cheque given by Congress to send the migrant workers to their native places is fake.

Speaking to scribes at the Vidhana Soudha, Ashoka said, "Dinesh Gundu Rao's signature is there on the cheque that was given by KPCC president. But the current president is D K Shivakumar. Do not know what inner conflicts are there among them. There is no sign of D K Shivakumar on cheque. So this cheque is also fake. These people do not know to change the account also and give us suggestion about providing buses."

Responding to the matter of Congress leaders visiting Kempegowda bus station in the city, Ashoka said, "Congress leaders have not maintained social distance in the midst of 5,000 people. They do not have the least common sense that someone in the crowd might have coronavirus infection. They do not have the moral right to advice others. Even they should be checked for infection. In addition they might have to be quarantined. We will discuss this issue with our leaders and CM Yediyurappa and take action."

"When Dinesh Gundu Rao was the president they did not give any donation. Now as D K Shivakumar is made president, Congress has got funds. This is really surprising. So we are looking at the cheque given by Congress carefully. We have already spent hundreds of crores. Congress has got more from the country than it has given. How much you have taken in the last 60 years? Now do not give in pennies. Your party has got 120 years of history. If you want to donate, then donate 120 crore. Do not give just for the sake of propaganda," said minister Ashoka.

If Dinesh Gundurao is the signatory to the KPCC Party bank account what's your problem, Mr Minister. Its common sense that irrespective of the Party President, the bank is interested who is the authorised signatory to honour a cheque.

Looks like R Ashoka has been rattled by the Human Gesture of the Congress Party and is playing spoilt Sport by claiming that the cheque is fake. Ashoka Ji please note the Congress party has also agreed to pay the rail fares. So stop your Fake Claims.
