Mangaluru: Muralidhar Pai takes charge as district chief sessions judge

Mangaluru, May 5: B Muralidhar Pai took over charge as the chief district and sessions judge of Dakshina Kannada on Monday May 4.

The previous incumbent, Kadlur Satyanarayanachrya, was transfrred to Bidar and he had handed over charge to first additional district and sessions judge, Sharada B, on April 30 before proceeding to Bidar.

Muralidhar Pai, who was serving as additional registrar general at the Kalaburagi circuit bench of Karnataka high court, as per the orders of the high court, was transferred as the district chief and sessions judge of Dakshina Kannada. Sharada B handed over charge to him.

Muralidhar Pai had earlier served as the judge of the Lokayukta special court and third additional district and sessions judge here.
