Udupi: BJP does not stick to any family, individual - MLC Pratap Simha Nayak

Udupi, Jun 25: The Udupi district BJP greeted and honoured the newly elected MLC, Pratap Simha Nayak in his first visit to Udupi on Thursday June 25. The honouring programme was organized by the district BJP president, Suresh Kuylady at the party office in Kadiyali.

After the felicitation while addressing the party workers Nayak said, "BJP does not stick to any family or individual rather the party workers will get responsibilities according to their service, dedication and committment. I believe in the same policy. I had never expected that one day I would occupy any high positiion in BJP, but the party has rewarded me for my hard work."

He further encouraged saying that the right time would come in everyone's life, but one needs to have patience to reap good times. Every individual should have patience and not get upset over losing chances and not leave the party or principles in such cases. He hailed his efforts not getting wasted and acknowledged the rewards that the party has bestowed on him much more than his expectations.

He said that every common man should get a respected position in a democratic country like India and all citizens are priviledged to be a part of it. "Celebrating June 26 as Democracy Awareness Day, I have a strong belief that our nation should be based on Hindutva but it should not reflect in any caste or creed but represent the ethos of our nation. The main purpose of the government is that even the last person in the society should get all facilities to lead a dignified life in the society."

He then said, "Considering responsibility as service, one should give justice to his post or position, whether it is given by the party or by the government. People or party will recognize us by our values, culture and thoughts of life. Prime minister Narendra Modi's way of life and his growth is a model for everyone."

He said that he believes the party has given the chance to organise and strengthen the party and it depended on how the people would make use of his thoughts and strengths.

Suresh Kuylady, district BJP president, Raghupati Bhat, MLA Udupi, Mattaru Ratnakar Hegde, president, Coastal Development Authority, Dinakar Babu, president zilla panchayat, Uday Kumar, divisional in charge, Sheela K Shetty, vice president, zilla panchayat, Mahesh Takoor and others were present.
