Udupi, Jun 29: In separate incidents in the district, three persons ended their lives within the limits of different police stations.
Jaya Devadiga (50) from Madanadu in Nitte village in Karkala taluk hanged himself in the early hours of Sunday, June 28. It is said that he was going through a lot of worries due to personal problems.
A case in this connection was registered in Karkala rural police station.
P Shekhar (57) residing near the railway gate at Achchada, who was a liquor addict, consumed poison on June 27, having been frustrated with life. A report about this unnatural death was registered in Kaup police station.
Mithun (39) from Kelarkalabettu, Tenkanidiyoor, who was suffering from psychological disorders, ended his life between June 26 and 28 by jumping into a well. A case relating to this incident was filed in Malpe police station.
