Karkala: Man loses balance, drowns in well

Karkala, Jul 6: In an incident which happened near Sanoor in the taluk on the evening of Saturday, July 4, a person drowned in a well after losing balance.
 
Sathish Acharya (45) from Kelagina Bava in Sanoor village, lost his life in this incident. Acharya reportedly was suffering from epilepsy for the last several years.
 
On Saturday evening, Acharya was drawing water from a well in his neighbourhood when he accidentally slipped. As he lost balance, his body fell into the well and he drowned.
 
A case of unnatural death stands registered in the town police station here relating to this tragedy.
