Udupi, Jul 6: A 55-year-old cyclist on Tuesday July 6 met with a car accident and was seriously injured in Brahmavar near Dupadadakatte here.
The injured person was identified as Mahabala, resident of Baikady. He reached Brahmavar by cycle and the accident occurred on his return home.
While crossing the national highway, in front of Manasa Bar in the afternoon, a car hit him and he fell onto the road. He suffered from severe bleeding from the head and other parts of his body.
The locals immediately rushed him to KMC Hospital Manipal.
The case stands registered at Brahmavar police station.
