Udupi: Complaint registered against Tamil Nadu returnee for flouting home quarantine norms

Udupi, Jul 6:  A case has been filed against a Tamil Nadu returnee in Brahmavar police station for violating home quarantine norms.

Vinayak Prabhu had returned from Tamil Nadu and was ordered to undergo home quarantine. On July 5, when the panchayath officers visited his house to seal it down, he was not found at his home. Prabhu reportedly had travelled to Hebri for some purpose. 

As per the tahsildar and other officers who urged him to return home, Prabhu was accused of using abusive language in retaliation. He was also accused of preventing the officers from conducting their duties.
 
Jayaraj Acharya flying squad officer for Brahmavar was the one to file a complaint against Prabhu in Brahmavar police station.
