Udupi, Jul 7: “As per directions of the state government under Ayushman Bharath Health Karnataka project, coronavirus infected people are eligible to avail treatment in private hospitals. However, having an Ayushman Bharath Health card is necessary to avail the benefit. People with or without BPL, APL ration cards and government servants can also obtain the cards. Therefore, people should make use of the facilities,” said deputy commissioner G Jagadeesha.
“The copy of the card in paper format is available for Rs 10 and the card format is available for Rs 35 in a nearby Seva Sindhu centre. The nearest primary health centre can be contacted for further details,” said the deputy commissioner.
