Bangalore: FedKCA Delegation Meets Governor to Discuss Attack on Christians

Bangalore, Mar 13: Federation of Karnataka Christian Association (FedKCA) delegation led by vice- chairman Joseph Manoharan met the Governor of Karnataka, Hansraj Bharadwaj at Raj Bhavan here on Thursday March 11 to discuss about the attacks on Christians and churches in Coastal Karnataka.

To the explanations of Joseph Manoharan and Dennis D’Silva, state convenor, FedKCA, Mangalore about the fearful atmosphere prevailing in Coastal Karnataka for Christians, the Governor assured that the safety measures will be undertaken to provide security to them and that he had already given directions to state government in this regard.



He advised the minority leaders to record all such attacks and incidents and bring them to the notice of governing authorities of both state and central government. He assured his full support in safeguarding the secular fabric of Karnataka.

P C Anthony Swamy, co-ordinator, FedKCA ,Bangalore, Fr Maxim Misquith, parish priest , Kalmady, Alwyn Quadros , FedKCA general secretary, Kundapur unit and president of Catholic Sabha,  Kundapur deanery,  Prashanth Jathanna, co-ordinator, Global Council of Indian Christians, Shashidar Hemmadi, president, Sahamatha,  Kundapur, Vinod Crasta, treasurer, Sahamatha, Kundapur and Vinod Lasrado, Catholic Youth Association, Mangalore were the other leaders in the delegation.
