Mangalore: Shanthi Education Trust Introduces Smart Class System

Mangalore, Mar 14:
Islamic Women’s College and Hira Girls High School in Babbukatte near Thokkottu, run by Shanti Education Trust, introduced the smart class education system for its students as part of its decennial year celebrations recently.


 
The smart class computer-based learning system was inaugurated by Philomina Lobo, principal, District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), and Ramesh K S, joint director, pre-university education board.
 
“The smart class system will be available for the students up to pre-university level. The college also has plans to continue this to degree classes also”, said K M Shareef, chairman, Shanti Educational Trust, adding that the college which is exclusively for Muslim girls, has helped hundreds of girls get a higher education.
 
“The college will organize several programmes to celebrate its decennial year and smart class system is the first contribution for the students on this occasion”, said Umer U H, trustee of the college management.
 
K Abdul Rahiman, vice-chairman, Shanti Education Trust, and secretary K Mohammad, principals Sajida, and Sumaiyya, were present.
