Bahrain, Mar 23: Kannada Sanga Bahrain recently had their Annual General Meeting at Sangha’s Premises. During the meeting various items were discussed including Kannada Bhavana.

New executive committee was also elected on the same day. Rajkumar Bhasker, popular Billawa community leader, entrepenuer and social worker  in Bahrain was elected as President For year 2010 – 2011.

He was also past President of Sangha 2004 – 2007 and also founder President of Guru Seva Samathi Bahrain, along with him, the following members were elected

H.K. Pai - Vice President,
Ramesh Ramachandren  - General Secretary,
S. Nagathan – Assistant Gen Secretary,
B.S Shrinivas – Treasurer,
D. Kalyanaraman – Assistant Treasurer,
Kiran Upadhyaya – Entertainmant Secretary,
Lakshmeesh Kotekar – Assistant Entertainment Secretary,
Ummer Sahib – Sports Secretary,
Shekarappa S. Koppad & Shivasharan Anand – Committee Members.

President elect Rajkumar and his Team had a wise vision for the current year “Namma Kanasu” as follows:

  • Bringing Kannada Bhavana Project to reality.
  • Increasing Facilities for members without increasing cost.
  • Increasing Income of Sangha by tactical management of facilities.
  • Raising funds for Kannada Bhavana and creation of corpus fund.
  • Providing refreshment/food in all weekend programs.
  • Providing increasing parking facilities.
  • Higher quality entertainment & cultural activities.
  • Increased sports facilities.
