Davanagere, Aug 24: A person infected with coronavirus ended his life inside the hospital. He hanged himself on Sunday, August 23.

The incident happened in a private hospital here. The patient aged 55, resident of an extension in the city, was confirmed with coronavirus infection four days back. He was being treated in a private hospital in the town since then.

Reportedly, the man was undergoing tremendous mental pressure after it was confirmed that he was infected with COVID-19.
