Kundapur, Aug 27: Udupi district school development and monitoring coordination forum has submitted a memorandum to the state minister of education S Suresh Kumar through Kundapur sub-divisional officer K Raju.
The forum stressed in it that it is a necessity to have the National Education Policy in Kannada. The forum stated that it is necessary to form an education policy that is suitable for Karnataka state after discussing its pros and cons in panchayat, taluks, districts and state level, table it in Vidhan Sabha and Vidhan Parishad and approve it.
School development and monitoring committee coordination forum district president Abdul Salam Chittoor, Kundapur taluk president S V Nagaraj and Kundapur zonal president Avanish Holla were present.
