Udupi, Aug 29: "Be prepared to win upcoming gram panchayat elections with the highest margin," said BJP district president Kuyilady Suresh Nayak.

He was speaking after presiding over the panchayat raj rural unit and mandala conveners meeting held at the district BJP office on August 29.

"BJP has plans to win all the 158-gram panchayat seats in the current gram panchayat elections and make the district Congress-free. The target should be reached with the collective efforts of the conveners, panchayat level leaders and office bearers at various levels," he said.

Local BJP leaders were present.
