Mangaluru, Oct 6: Under the leadership of Chiranjeevi Anchan, the district president of Youth INTUC, a protest was held in front of the city Congress office seeking immediate arrest and action regarding the UP rape case of a Dalit girl.
Dinakar Shetty, the state general-secretary of youth INTUC and Bondala Chittaranjan Shetty, the district general-secretary of INTUC along with Chiranjeevi Anchan spoke about the inability of the UP government and asked for the immediate arrest of the rapist and punishment.
Vishal Poojary, the district vice-president of youth INTUC, Sunith Dsa, vice-president of youth Congress, Padmasmith Adhikari, Punith Shetty, Siddik Hussain, Sampath Lobo, Samad, Ashwin Alva were present.
