Mangaluru: KEB subdivision Nandigudda plants saplings at office premises

Mangaluru, Oct 8: The engineers and staff of the KEB subdivision office, Nandigudda planted various fruit plants at the premises of the office under the slogan 'healthy minds- healthy society'.

Inaugurating the programme, Stany Lasrado, a junior engineer at Nandigudda subdivision said, "Every year we celebrate 'Vanamahotsava' with the intention of 'save our nature', but this is limited to only a celebration and no one is bothered about the saplings planted on Vanamahostava Day. I appreciate the staff of the KEB Nandigudda office for continuing the practice of planting trees every month and taking proper care of the plants. It is our individual’s duty to save nature and make others aware of this.”

Abdul Nasir, operator, Anjali, Manjudevi, Ranjith were present.
