Kundapur: Protests held condemning rape, murder of Dalit girl in Hathras

Kundapur, Oct 8: Karnataka Dalit Sangharsha Samithi, Bhima Gharjane Udupi, Bahujan Kranti Morcha Udupi and Muslim Morcha, Udupi staged joint protests at Kundapur Shastri Circle on Thursday condemning the recent brutal rape and murder of Dalit girl in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh.

Bhima Gharjane state convener Udaya Kumar Tallur said that RSS is controlling the state government and the central government. “Law and order in the country have completely deteriorated. Officials do not work sincerely. Dalits and minorities are being suppressed. The failure of CM Yogi Adityanath-led government in Uttar Pradesh has been exposed in the Hathras incident. Countrywide protests will be held to provide justice to the girl,” he said.

Leaders of the organizations, Mohammed Thoufiq, Chandra Valthur, K S Vijay, Liaqat and Nazir Ahmed Belvai were present.
