Bantwal: PhD awarded to Vishal Pinto

Bantwal, Oct 9: Vishal Pinto, an Assistant Professor of Government First Grade College, Punjalkatte was awarded a PhD degree from Tumkur University.

He successfully defended his thesis titled 'Evaluation of Micro Enterprises promoted by Self Help Groups- A study with reference to Coastal Karnataka', in Commerce for which Tumkur University granted him the PhD degree.

He has done his research under the guidance of Dr P N Udayachandra, HOD and associate professor of the department of Commerce, SDM College Ujire (Autonomous).

He is the son of late John Pinto and Cicilia Pinto residing at Ujire in Beltangady taluk.
