Puttur, Oct 10: A rider was killed after the wheels of his two-wheeler skidded near Bannur school in the outskirts of the city during the late night hours on Thursday October 8. The deceased has been identified as Nishant (28), son of the late Keshav Bat from Bannur Nekkila.
Nishant was working for a drinking water bottling company. When he was returning home after duty hours, the wheels of his vehicle skidded and he fell down. But no one noticed the accident. A person who was walking by that road during the late night hours noticed that a scooter had fallen on the roadside. He searched and found Nishant's body having been deposited in the roadside drain.
The deceased is survived by mother.
