Udupi: SIO and GIO protests condemning rape of Dalit girl in Hathras

Udupi, Oct 10: Students Islamic Organization Udupi and Girls Islamic organization Udupi, Jamathe Islami Hind, Udupi women’s wing held protests in front of martyrs memorial, Udupi today condemning the brutal rape and murder of Dalit girl in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh.

Social activist Veronica Cornelio, SIO state secretary Ashim Jawad, GIO state president Humaira Banu, Jamathe Islami Hind women’s wing district convener Kulsum Aboobaker addressed the protesters. SIO district president Nasir Hoode, GIO district president Amna Kausar, Welfare party of India Udupi district president Abdul Aziz Udyavar were present. Jamathe Islami Hind Udupi ladies wing convener Shahida Riaz compered and rendered a vote of thanks.
