Bantwal, Oct 14: A programme of officials to visit every gram panchayats in the taluk in the leadership of taluk panchayat president Chandrahas Karkera, conduct progress review in them and obtain information about the problems was set in motion in Kavalapadoor gram panchayat on Monday October 12.
The officials were directed to visit the gram panchayats for progress review, receive suggestions from villagers about their issues and demands and act on them.
Taluk panchayat vice president Abbas Ali, standing committee president Mallika V Shetty, former standing committee president Dhanalaxmi C Bangera, E O Rajanna, engineer Krishna, former Kavalapadoor gram panchayat president Pramod Rai Kadabettu, gram panchayat PDO and gram panchayat members were present.
