Bantwal: Milk producers’ society alleges misuse of funds by staff, files police complaint

Bantwal, Oct 14: Kundadka milk producer’s cooperative society limited has alleged that their secretary N Govind Naik has misused funds of the society.

The society president Theertharama B has stated in a complaint to Vittal police station that Govind Naik has misused Rs 4,63,623.21 during the financial years from 2013-14 to 2019-20 including amount collected from sale of milk and government’s subsidy.

The accused had admitted of the wrongdoing in writing on October 9, 2019 and repaid Rs 52,058.50 to the society. Rs 4,11,564.71 are still to be repaid. The accused has repeatedly cheated the society creating false records and misused the money received from the government, he stated in the complaint.
