Bantwal, Oct 16: “Bantwal government hospital that is functioning in the heart of the taluk has been provided basic facilities and is converted as a well-equipped hospital. Vacant positions are filled. The hospital functions with expert doctors,” said Bantwal MLA Rajesh Naik. He was speaking at a news conference in the hospital on Friday afternoon.

“I have tried sincerely to solve problems in the hospital for the last two years when I became MLA. The taluk hospital has reached the third position in the state and it is a matter of pride that it is not below any private hospital.”

“The hospital has been provided with different medical equipment whenever deemed necessary under government funds and donations during the last two years. It has an ambulance donated by MRPL company. CAD company has donated five ECG equipment. Lions Club will be donating two morgues to keep dead bodies in November. Nearly 800 outpatients are getting treated every day in the hospital due to the increased facilities in the hospital,” he said.
