Kundapur: Teenager suffers shocks, dies at temple festival

Kundapur, Oct 19: Dhanush (16), son of Gangadhar Achar, a resident of Uppinakudru village suffered electric shocks and died at a temple near his home.

Dhanush was a tenth standard student. On Saturday, October 17 night he had visited Goddess Lalita Durgaparameshwari temple along with family members. He accidentally came in contact with live electric cables connected to the decorative lights arranged on the compound wall of the temple and died on the spot.
