Udupi, Oct 30: The handing over of charge of the new managing committee of Kadiyali Shri Mahishamardini temple was held on Wednesday October 28.

Dr Raviraj Acharya, chief of the medicine department of KMC, Manipal and vice-president of Kadiyali Ganeshotsava Samiti was elected unanimously as the managing trustee of the temple.

Nagaraja Shetty Kadiyali, K Manjunatha Hebbar, Ramesh Sherigar Kunjibettu, Kishore Salian Katyayaninagara, Sandya Prabhu, Shashikala Bharath, Ganesh Naika Padiagaru and the present priest K Raghupati Upadya were elected as the new members of the committee.

The managing officer of Ravindra handed over the charge to the new committee. K Raghavendra Kini, president of UUDA wished all the best to the new committee.

The municipal councillor of Kunjibettu ward Girish Anchan, councillor of Kadiyali ward Geetha Shet, member of Dharmika Parishad Udupi district Mohan Upadyaya, executive officer Ganesh Rao and manager Gangadhar Hegade were present.
